The extension of the education system has been implemented, both in the classic European state-nations and in postcolonial foreign countries, as a monoculturalization project, according to the book “Multiculturalism, Interculturality and Education” by Professor Gunther Dietz, of the department of Social Anthropology. The book, published by Universidad de Granada press, maintains that, even in societies exclusively made up of emigrants, such as the US, the assimilatory policy of the melting pot resorts to a hegemonic (...)

Experts study the possible connection between seismic activity and fissures in the walls of the Alhambra

Likewise, the fact that provokes the most negative feeling is unwanted pregnancy, which coincides (...)

The UGR starts a study about the water of the Vega of Granada using space remote sensing
Data about our planet can be obtained from space satellites which would be impossible to obtain at our height, with human sight or conventional photography. Satellites´ electromagnetic sensors provide repetitive images of most part of the Earth, including inaccesible areas like polar or desert areas. Such images provide a global dimension that helps to understand the (...)
